Connecting a source

Fitbit through Google Health

Open Metrier, choose Google Health, and sign in. Metrier requests access to compatible activity, heart, and sleep measurements used to calculate your scores, and can write logged hydration, nutrition, and workouts when write permissions are granted.

Apple Health

Choose Apple Health and approve the measurement categories you want Metrier to read, as well as write permissions if you choose to log hydration, nutrition, or workouts. A device can contribute only the information its companion app writes into Apple Health. Brand-specific scores may remain inside the provider’s app.

Strava

Connect Strava to view recent activities in Fitness. Strava is a read-only activity source; its data stays separate from Metrier’s scores and intelligence and is discarded after no more than seven days.

Understanding the signals

  • Recovery: today’s capacity, informed by overnight and baseline signals.
  • Strain: load accumulated from movement and workouts.
  • Sleep: duration, stages, timing, and consistency where available.
  • Energy Reserve: energy restored by rest and drawn down by load.
  • Stress: an intraday view of how settled or activated your system appears.

Every signal depends on the measurements your source provides. Missing data can reduce confidence or leave a score unavailable.

Managing your data

  • Disconnect a source inside Metrier to stop syncing, revoke access, and clear local cache and credentials stored for that connection.
  • Change Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app.
  • Removing Metrier clears local app storage and cached history on your device, but does not delete records previously saved to Apple Health or Google Health, or backups you exported. Disconnect providers before uninstalling to clear stored credentials.
  • Read the Privacy Policy for the complete overview.
